WSD Names James Hieger as Administrative Intern at North Point High School

The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved the hiring of James Hieger as an administrative intern at North Point High School, effective July 1, 2022.
Hieger currently serves as a special education teacher at North Point High School. He has been a special education teacher in the WSD since 2020. Prior to joining the District, Hieger was a principal for six years at Special School District (SSD), where he supervised the Career and Technical Education programs at North Technical High School. Additionally, he served as an assistant principal for six years, and an area coordinator and teacher for nine years at SSD.
"I am extremely excited and privileged to have the opportunity to move into a leadership role at North Point,” said Hieger. “I'm looking forward to helping all students reach their full potential and achieve their goals. The incredible students and dedicated staff make every day 'A Great Day to be a Grizzly!'"
Hieger has an Educational Specialist Degree in educational leadership from Missouri Baptist University, a Master’s of Education in educational administration from Lindenwood University, and a bachelor’s degree in special and elementary education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
