May 20, 2022
The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Beth Kennedy as an Assistant Principal at Heritage Primary, effective July 1, 2022.
Kennedy currently serves as a Literacy Coach at Heritage Primary, where she has been since 2020. Prior to joining the WSD, Beth was a third and fifth grade teacher in the Lindbergh School District for eight years. She was a second grade teacher at Rohan Woods School for six years. She started her career teaching first, fourth, and fifth grades in the Mehlville School District.
"I am beyond excited to serve the Heritage Primary community as the next Assistant Principal,” said Kennedy. “For the past two years, I have had the honor of building positive relationships with teachers and students while fostering a love for literacy. In my new leadership role, I look forward to supporting our student-centered approach to learning, building strong relationships with our students and staff, and creating lasting partnerships with families and the community. It is a privilege to be a part of the Cub family."
Kennedy holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Master’s Degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University; as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southeast Missouri State University.
