WSD Names Jessica Hanks as Principal of Heritage Intermediate

The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Jessica Hanks as the principal of Heritage Intermediate, effective July 1, 2022.  

Hanks is currently an assistant principal at Lakeview Elementary, where she has served since 2020. Prior to becoming an administrator, Jessica was a fifth-grade teacher for nine years. In that role, she served as grade-level chairperson and participated in our WE-Lead program. Hanks served as a summer school administrator as well.   

“I am extremely honored to be named the new principal of Heritage Intermediate,” said Hanks. “I look forward to partnering with the students, staff, and community members to promote a school environment that is centered around building positive relationships, fostering a culture that supports academic excellence, and one that maximizes the potential of every student. I can’t wait to begin serving the Heritage community and working together to ensure that we are meeting the needs of every student, every day.” 

Hanks is pursuing her doctorate from Maryville University. She holds a Master of Administration from Lindenwood University, and she has a Bachelor of Arts from Lindenwood University.
