WSD Names Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services
April 22, 2022
The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Dr. Janell Mueller as the assistant superintendent of Administrative Services, effective July 1, 2022.
Dr. Mueller has worked for the WSD since 1999 when she began her teaching career as a business teacher at Holt High School. She became an assistant principal and intern in 2014, and she continued in that role until she was hired as the executive director of Administrative Services in 2018.
In her current role, Dr. Mueller has been instrumental in the work of the Child Nutrition Department, supports building administrators with student discipline matters, and has worked side-by-side with the current assistant superintendent of Administrative Services on all Administrative Services responsibilities.
“I am honored and excited to continue to work alongside our staff and families to provide the services that our students need to help them achieve their academic and personal goals,” said Dr. Mueller. “We have an incredible staff and community that are passionate about education as well as the success of all of our students. Together, we will continue to strive for academic excellence.”
Dr. Mueller has her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. She has a Master of Arts degree from Lindenwood University in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
