WSD Names Andrew Elmendorf Assistant Principal of NPHS
The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Andrew Elmendorf, Ed.S., as an assistant principal of North Point High School, effective July 1, 2022.
Mr. Elmendorf started his education career in the City of St. Charles School District doing ISS before moving to the Francis Howell School District, where he taught PE and special education for two years. From there, Mr. Elmendorf has been teaching in the Troy R-3 School District for the past 10 years. He was the head baseball coach and taught PE/Health for eight years and has been in his current role as assistant principal for the past two years.
“I am extremely excited to be joining the Wentzville School District and North Point High School,” Mr. Elmendorf said. “Wentzville is a special place to live, and I can’t wait to give back to the community I live in. I look forward to being a member of Grizzly Nation and to be a valuable piece to growing our new school through shared decision making and relationship building!”
Mr. Elmendorf has a Master of Arts in Secondary Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education/Health from Lindenwood University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Missouri Baptist University.
