WSD Students Excel at Regional Science and Engineering Fair
Students from the Wentzville School District excelled at the Missouri’s Tri-County Regional Science and Engineering Fair, held earlier this spring at St. Charles Community College. In the Honors Division, WSD students placed first, second, and third overall.
Timberland senior Sabrene Lutfiyya won 1st place overall, 1st place in Health and Medicine, received the Navy and Air Force Research awards, the Science Coach Top Researcher award, and has qualified as a Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) finalist.
Holt juniors Lydia Turley and Natalie Kiehl won 2nd place overall, 2nd place in Animal Science, received the Air Force Research award, and have qualified as ISEF finalists.
Liberty senior Pranad Balla won 3rd place overall, 1st place in Environmental Science, and received the Ricoh Sustainability award.
As ISEF finalists, Lutfiyya, Turley, and Kiehl will represent the WSD at the ISEF, to be held May 10-16, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition, the following students placed in the top three in their respective categories in the Honors Division:

- Landon Rosenhoffer, Holt: 2nd place - Environmental
- Riddik Steibel, Holt: 2nd place - Physics/Engineering
- Drake Britton/Parker Cross, Holt: 3rd place - Physics/Engineering
- Zachary Jose, Holt: 3rd place - Health and Medicine, Regeneron Biomedical award
- Cassandra Myers, Liberty: 3rd place - Behavioral
- Shravanya Shrinivas, Holt: 3rd place - Animal Science
- Finn Young, Holt: 3rd place - Environmental
- Madison Bynum, Holt: Environmental Stockholm Junior Water Award
In the elementary and high school divisions of the Tri-County Science & Engineering Fair, the following students/classes places in the top three in their respective categories:

- Andrew and Noah Roberts, 4th grade, Wabash: 1st place - Bouncing to New Heights
- Maggie Rose, 3rd grade, Wabash: 2nd place - Temperature Volcano
