WSD's Lori Krug is honored with the 2023 MoACTE Teacher of the Year Award
March 17, 2023
Lori Krug is a pillar of the culture at North Point High School, and she exemplifies what it means to be a teacher who goes above and beyond the call of duty.
On Thursday, March 16, her family and colleagues showed their love and support by surprising her with the announcement that she won the 2023 Missouri Association of Career and Technical Educators (MoACTE) Teacher of the Year Award.
The award recognizes teachers who are dedicated to the education and innovation of Career and Technical Education in the classroom and community.
This announcement came on the heels of Lori being selected as the 2023 Missouri Educators of Family and Consumer Sciences and Human Services (MoEFCS) PRIDE/Carl Perkins Community Service Award recipient for her countless community endeavors and promotional ideas leading to the continued development of Career and Technical Education.
Lori will be officially presented with her MoACTE award at a recognition ceremony in July.
