• NCAA Eligibility

    All high school athletes who are interested in competing in Division I or Division II collegiate athletics must meet the National Collegiate Athletic Association requirements and should understand the NCAA eligibility/recruiting process thoroughly. High school students who wish to participate in Division I/Division II athletics must register with the NCAA clearinghouse after completing six semesters of high school.

    All ACT/SAT scores must be reported directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center by using the code 9999.

    You should work with your Activity Director and College/Career Planning Counselor to plan your progression from high school to becoming a collegiate student-athlete.

    ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES –A student must meet the MSHSAA academic requirement to participate in an athletic or non-sports activity. That includes any activity where the student and/or team would compete against another school. To be eligible for participation, the following requirements must be met.

    • A student must comply with all regulations established by the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA).

    • A student must have earned, in the preceding semester of attendance, a minimum of 3.0 units of credit, and currently be enrolled in and regularly attending courses that offer 3.0 units of credit.

    • A student must have on file a MSHSAA participation certificate, which includes a physical, parent permission and authorization for treatment.

    A student must have on file a signed copy of the High School Athletic/Activities Policy.
