The Wentzville School District Board of Education has approved the hiring of Rachel McKee as assistant principal at Wentzville Middle School, effective July 1, 2025.

McKee brings more than 11 years of education experience to the district. She currently serves as science department chair at Saeger Middle School in the Francis Howell School District. She was named the 2024-25 Saeger Middle School Teacher of the Year. She also has worked as an assistant principal intern and middle school teacher for the Francis Howell School District.

“I am so excited to join the Wentzville Middle School team, and I look forward to building meaningful relationships with the students, staff, and families,” said McKee. “I am eager to contribute to the continued success of WMS and be a part of this incredible community!”

McKee is currently pursuing her doctorate at Maryville University. She holds a master's degree in education from Lindenwood University and a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
