WSD Names Ryan Bishop Executive Director of Student Services (6th-12th)

The Wentzville School District Board of Education approved hiring Ryan Bishop as executive director of student services (6th-12th), effective July 1, 2024. 

For nearly a decade, Bishop has served as the principal at Hope High School in the Fort Zumwalt School District. Prior to that, he was an assistant principal for Fort Zumwalt East High School; an area coordinator and assistant principal at Hazelwood West High School; a special education administrator and area coordinator at Hazelwood West High School and Middle School. He has also taught for the Special School District of St. Louis County and Fort Zumwalt South High School. 

“I am excited and honored to join the Wentzville School District,” said Bishop. “Throughout my career, I have been passionate about education and its positive impact on individuals and communities. As Executive Director of Student Services (6th-12th), I am committed to fostering an environment where every student can thrive in all aspects of education. I am eager to begin the new journey and help contribute to the continued success and growth of the WSD.”

Bishop holds a Specialist Degree in Education from William Woods University, a Master of Science in Education from Missouri Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
