• Substance Abuse Intervention Program

The Substance Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP) works in partnership with Preferred Family Healthcare. Counselors work with participating students to provide a curriculum that includes substance abuse interventions, prevention, and education. Students found in possession of or under the influence of drugs or alcohol are given the opportunity to enter the program as an alternative to long-term suspensions. Each student is assessed and given an intervention plan based on their individual needs.

The Substance Abuse Intervention Program is also available on a voluntary basis for parents looking for a resource to help if they suspect their child has a drug or alcohol problem. To learn more about access to this program on a voluntary basis, contact Jason Moore, Director of Alternative and Adaptive Learning at Pearce Hall at 636-327-3941 ext 24224. You can also contact your child's school counselor or their building principal for more information.
