We are loving the fall weather as we finish up first quarter at The Mind Development Center. The school year is really flying by and our students have enjoyed some awesome topics including a unit on bats, using silhouetts to map drawing of places and animals on the wall to trace, starting a school news paper, and using their communication skills to do surveys of students about sports.
We can't wait to see what next semester has in store!
We welcomed students back to TMDC after a their summer hiatus. Students spent their day getting re-aclimated to being at school and enjoyed seeing their friends again! Middle and high school students started new units including "International Intel" and "Mystery Marvels." The country of the week is Italy! Elementary students did sensory exploration activities and "skated" on shaving cream! We are looking forward to a fun summer!
We've had a great year at The Mind Development Center! Our students are looking forward to a well deserved break and some fun in the sun. This year has brought us the "space room," using chisels to dig out minerals, making predicitions about Blues games and taking surveys, building and crashing towers, planting flowers, and more! We're looking forward to a fabulous summer semester!
